As we move through May, we have several opportunities and resources designed to support you in your day-to-day work and strengthen your connection with SGFP. Below are a few timely updates we want to make sure are on your radar.
Final Day to Apply to Join SGFP Operational Teams
Today is the last day to submit your Expression of Interest for SGFP Operational Teams. If you’ve been considering getting involved, this is your final opportunity for this cycle. These roles are an important way to shape SGFP’s work, strengthen our advocacy, and bring front-line experience directly into our decision-making. If you’re interested, please take a moment to submit your EOI before the deadline closes tonight. Submit your application.
Billing Webinar Reminder
A reminder that our upcoming webinar, Let’s Talk Billing with a short feature on counselling codes such as K013 and K005, is happening May 20, 12:00-1:00 PM. This session is open to members in all family practice models and to all billing questions. It will be facilitated by Drs. Ryan Banach and Salesh Budhoo. Register here.
SGFP On-Call: Schedule a 1:1 Meeting with your SGFP Executive
There are a small number of spaces left for SGFP On-Call sessions in May. These 1:1 conversations with SGFP leaders give you protected time to share what’s happening in your practice, the pressures, the wins, and the realities that don’t always make it into surveys or formal channels. Members consistently tell us how valuable these conversations are, and your insights directly shape our advocacy. If you’ve been meaning to connect, we encourage you to book a spot. Ontario Health: Regional Primary Care Clinical Lead Opportunities
Ontario Health is currently recruiting for three Regional Primary Care Clinical Lead (RPCCL) positions, one each in the North East, East, and West regions. These roles offer a unique opportunity for family physicians to contribute to the evolution of primary care at a regional level, working collaboratively with system partners to strengthen access, coordination, and implementation of provincial priorities. RPCCLs provide clinical leadership one day per week (0.2 FTE) and serve a two-year term, with the option to extend for an additional two years.
